Dailin joined the Voight Lab as a postdoctoral researcher in August 2026, after receiving his PhD from the Genomics and Computational Biology program at Penn. There, he studied in the labs of Christopher (Casey) Brown, Struan Grant, and Laura Almasy.
He previously received his B.S. in Computer Science and Computational Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021. Max’s research interests focus on developing and applying statistical methodology to understand the genetic component of human complex traits, in particular the genetic architecture of chromatin accessibility.
