Adarsh is a freshman undergraduate student in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studies Bioengineering. He is interested in understanding the genetic basis of metabolic disease and how computational approaches can be used to study and improve human health outcomes. He previously conducted wet lab research in the Grishchuk Lab, where he worked on the structural characterization of mitotic proteins. Through this experience, he developed an interest in complementing experimental biology with computational methods and is now focused on applying data-driven approaches to biological systems. He joined the lab in Fall 2025 and is excited to build his computational skillset while contributing to ongoing projects.
Outside of academics, Adarsh enjoys watching Indian movies, playing pickleball with friends, and exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia.
