Chris is a PhD student in the Genomic and Computational Biology (GCB) program at Penn. He graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a degree in biochemistry in 2014. After college, Chris worked for three years as a post-bac IRTA in the Undiagnosed Disease Program at NHGRI-NIH, using bioinformatic tools to identify potential disease-causing variants in patients. Chris started graduate school in 2017 and has since been working on building better mutation rate models using Bayesian methods. In his free time, Chris enjoys playing soccer and baking pizza.

In 2023, Chris took a job working for the Philadelphia Phillies as a Quantitative Analyst.
